Dr. Laura Bardroff Zieger is Department Chair and Professor of Educational Technology and School Library Media at New Jersey City University. She earned her doctorate in Educational Technology from Pepperdine University. Both her M.A. and B.A. are in English Education. She serves as a judge for the Software Information Industry Association’s CODIE Awards and is a reviewer for the Journal of Interactive Online Learning.
Dr. Zieger is an active contributor to the field of Educational Technology, presenting on a variety of topics around the country. She recently co-authored a book entitled, Teachers as Technology Leaders published by ISTE. Her involvement in online parenting communities has been published in Family PC magazine and Sesame Street Parents. Dr. Zieger’s current research interests include the application of emerging internet technologies for learning and the use of interactive media and immersive simulations in education. |
